Boyne Valley Blue is a handcrafted Irish blue cheese produced by Michael and Jenny Finegan in Co. Meath from fresh goat’s milk. One of Ireland’s few blue goat’s milk cheeses, it combines the distinctive character of traditional blue cheese with the natural sweetness and freshness that goat’s milk brings.
Carefully matured to develop its flavour and texture, Boyne Valley Blue has a firm, slightly crumbly paste marbled with striking blue veining throughout. Rich savoury notes are balanced by gentle earthy complexity and a delicate tang from the goat’s milk, creating a cheese that is bold in flavour yet remarkably refined and well balanced.
